The main goal of a comedy film is to make the audience laugh and even put them in a good mood. This is accomplished through entertaining stories and characters.
3. Some well-known techniques of the comedy industry are; things entering the frame in funny ways, for example, a person handing a cake from the side of the frame. This technique can be seen in many comedy films. As mentioned previously, comedy contains funny actions and many jokes. These could be timed just right with music to elicit the most laughter possible.

The whole plot of the movie is humorous, Happy Gilmore is a hockey player who wins a golf tournament to pay off his grandmas house. We see Happy dancing around imitating riding a horse, and most iconic, his unique golf swing.

In the films, we see a hilarious character who has way too much chest hair, horrible teeth, and a hilarious personality. In this specific scene, we see an example of a humorous performance as Austin Powers attempts to turn a car around in a very narrow hallway.
